Windows 10 – End of Support – how to prepare

Microsoft Windows 10 will reach end of support (EOS) on October 14, 2025.

Microsoft has created tool with help of Forrester  to  help you determine if your current Windows 11 upgrade timeline will lead to completion by Windows 10 EOS (October 14, 2025) and what the benefits and costs of accelerating your upgrade timeline might be. The costs necessary to secure devices after Windows 10 EOS include purchasing Extended Security Updates (ESUs) to temporarily secure devices until they can be upgraded.

This will provide timeline to create a baseline plan for Windows 10 EOS before October 14, 2025, so business doesn’t have adverse effects
